Battlestar Galactica Cast Pictures
I have had the opportunity to meet Richard Hatch, Dirk Benedict, Herb Jefferson Jr, Anne Lockhart, and Jack Stauffer.
My first meeting with one of them was certainly the most memorable. I was attending a convention in Plano, TX a few years ago. I had just arrived, and was looking at some of the vendor tables outside of the main dealers room. One of the tables had a very nice selection of Battlestar Galactica pictures, so I stopped to take a closer look.
At first I didn't pay much attention to the gentleman that was running the table. He was playing around with a young boy that was passing by. However, after a bit, I had this very odd feeling. First I looked at one of the pictures of Capt. Apollo. Then I looked at the guy. I did this a few times before finally getting up the nerve to ask if he was Richard Hatch. It turned out that he was, and that the convention hadn't advertised his being there.
Richard was very friendly, and more than willing to chat with the fans. I have met him more than once, and he has always been a pleasure to visit with.
Anne was very outgoing and pleasant to chat with. She shared some of her interests and greeted her fans with a smile. Herb struck me as a pretty relaxed easy going kind of man. He too was more than happy to talk with fans about nearly anything. Jack was energetic and humorous. When he was together with Richard, it was hard not to laugh. Dirk was a pleasure to put an arm around. He still has that special twinkle in his eye.
